Be inspired

Sir Frederick Gibberd’s books and papers have been catalogued and the Archive is kept in the House at the Garden, with the exception of his architectural drawings most of which are housed in the Drawings Collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Subjects covered in the archive include architecture, art, gardening, travel, building & engineering, town planning, biography and landscape design, together with Sir Frederick’s diaries, plans, books and drawings of the Garden.

The Archive is available to bona fide researchers and students for study in the House under supervision.
