The Gibberd Garden is open to the public until October end for our 2024 Season. Come and join us every Wednesday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm in our lush botanical oasis.

Explore our stunning collection of rare and exotic plants and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and sculpture.  The Gibberd Rooms, the beautiful home of Sir Frederick and Lady Gibberd are open to the public every Sunday!

General Information

Opening Times: Our regular opening times are Wednesdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Dogs Allowed: Dogs are allowed in The Gibberd Garden. But we DO ask visitors to keep the on a lead and under control. Dogs are NOT allowed in the Cafe.

Barn Tea Room: Is available for refreshments, teas, cakes and ice cream during regular opening times.

Picnics: Sadly picnics are not allowed except for special occasions, so please checkout our events pages for our picnic events.

Payments and Entry Fees: We accept payments by cash and card/contactless.

  • Full: £6.00
  • Concession (Over 60 or Students): £5.00
  • Children (5 to 16): £1.00
  • Children (Under 5): Free
  • Members of the following organisations: Free*

Historic Houses members with a valid membership card have free access to The Gibberd Garden, during our advertised opening hours.

Historic Houses supports and protects Britain’s lived-in heritage.  Full details of other houses, castles and gardens that can be visited by members is available through their website.
